When you feel like slowing down, accelerate instead!
In the study of habits the concept of triggers and your response to them is important. The first step is identifying triggers that you respond to by initiating a behavior that you want to change. Smoking a cigarette when you get stressed at work, overeating when criticized, etc.
After becoming aware, you can then do something about it, like rewire your response.
When you feel tired, a natural response is to stop. The challenge is to notice when you’re feeling like slowing down, and make a conscious decision to accelerate instead. This will prove to yourself you go the extra mile, and expand your capabilities!
