Inspired by investing legend Ray Dalio’s book Principles that I’m reading, I’ve begun drafting my own principles. Here is where I’m at:

• Serve others – it is better to give than receive
• Stewardship – we are caretakers, not owners
• Embrace discomfort – greatness is on the other side of it
• Make the courageous choice – do what’s difficult even when everyone won’t like or understand 
• Be curious and seek understanding – don’t assume you know, but believe you can learn
• Love and feel wholeheartedly
