Life is a series of moments. Today we celebrated my daughter’s first birthday and it was amazing. Seeing her light up and happily grabbing fistfuls of her cake was a very special moment.

We don’t know what all our special moments in life will be, or how far away the next one is. We also may not realize how we can take a moment and make it special or realize what’s already special about one.

When you’re going through a hard time or struggling to find a reason to live your best life, remember how you felt during a special moment, and know that there will be more ahead.
