Weekly Focus 8/10/25: Energy Awareness

The blog is often about intentions, thoughts and mindset. These are all important but without the key ingredient of action, they fall short of driving true change.

To ensure the blog is having the impact I want it to (primarily on myself) I’m starting to post a weekly focus, which will be something to be intentional about for the full week. I believe a week is short enough to be approachable but long enough to make a difference and start to build a habit. I would love for anyone interested who believes they could benefit to commit to the weekly focus with me and be intentional about using it as a tool to improve their life.

This week’s focus is energy awareness. Simply be aware of how your energy is being expressed, particularly around others. How is your energy making them feel? Pay attention to it and most importantly make adjustments to how you act (smile, more eye contact, better questions, more thoughtful reactions and responses, etc,) accordingly to have the type of impact you want to on the room. How you make others feel matters and you should be aware of it.
